Safety First!

Ryan started the week with a fun new responsibility... he was chosen to be one of Langham's Safety Patrol! He was one of only six third graders chosen to be a part of the group. We are very proud that he is trusted with the responsibility of being an example for others each morning before school!! Mom hasn't been able to snap a picture of him on duty yet!

It was another baseball-filled week for the Bell Boys! Wilson, Peyton, and I played a Tuesday and Thursday game with our Astros buddies... great games for all of us! Peyton even fielded a ball and got a base-runner out at second base!! The first of many outs for that little ball player, I am sure!

On Thursday, Ryan and his 3rd grade classmates had a Pen Pal Picnic at Doornbos Park with their Hillcrest Pen Pals! They had fun eating their sack lunch, tossing the football, and playing at the park! Here is a picture of Ryan enjoying himself on one of the tiny park toys!!

Friday was Muffins With Mom at Little Wooden Shoes!! We are so blessed to have so many wonderful ladies in our lives... Mommy, Granna, Nana, Grandma, Granny, Aunt Allie, Aunt Jennifer, Aunt Meredith and Nanny Lawren. I just wish we could see those who don't live here more often!!

The Roughriders played in the 300 Points - Lights Out USSSA Tournament at Ford Park. On a wet, sloppy Saturday, the boys played a great 10am game against the Sulphur Elite Blue, winning 18-3! The 11:45 game ended in a 7-4 loss against the Thunder Baseball team from Lake Charles.

On Sunday, the boys came out fighting and had an amazing day!! They defeated Toros Baseball from Sulphur, LA 13-0. Ryan pitched the final inning of the NO HITTER!!

The next game was a 9-1 vicory against the Southeast Texas Venom.

The Championship game against Conroe Colts ended in a 9-0 WIN for the Texas Roughriders. We were so proud of the boys' defensive play... no runs allowed!! Only ONE run allowed all day... three games, one run allowed!! Way to play, Roughriders!!

On Monday night, Daddy and I cheered Mom on as she completed the Final Challenge of the TCPT Challenge! The Challenge is a 6 week, 5 day a week, 5-6:20 am extreme workout program, Mom survived and can now be called a PT KILLER!
