Living for and loving our sports-filled weekends!

Wilson and his Kryptonite teammates played a great game on Saturday!  The team finished with a win!!  Wilson scored two goals when he played offense...
...and he made several saves when he played in goal!

On Saturday night we enjoyed a night with Daddy at the Lamar Cardinal football game!

The whole gang in our Cardinal RED!!  We were happy to cheer the Cardinals on to a 31-0 victory!!

On Sunday, the Rockies won one and lost one.  Dylan hit well and played great defense!

The Angels added two wins to their record and Ryan walked away with EIGHT strikeouts!!  It was a great day of baseball for our big brother!!

We made it through the next week of school, Open House, CCD, soccer and baseball practices, homework... and we gladly welcomed Friday with our Bulldog Black and Gold!!

The Saturday soccer games were cancelled due to rain, so Wilson and I put on our swim suits and got out the water guns to enjoy the rainy day in the best way!!

We celebrated a Texas Aggie WIN on Saturday when the Aggies beat Ole Miss 30-27! Gig 'Em Aggies!!  WHOOP!!

CCD for Me!!!

The boys started the week in their Langham blue... and don't I look handsome in my "work pants" and boots?!

After school on Tuesday, we had a little free time to jump in the pool and splash around before Dylan and Wilson headed to CCD! I was all business in my USA swim cap... watch out Michael Phelps, I am working on my skills!!

Tuesday was Dylan and Wilson's first day of CCD for the year. They were both happy to see familiar faces in their classes! Wilson was super excited to be in the same class as Ayden, Madyn, and Hunter... his favorite Pre-K friends and his Langham buddy... he is going to love CCD this year!!

Wednesday was my very first day of CCD!  I wasn't so sure whether I was going to like it or not, but Dylan and Wilson walked up with me and once I got there, I was ready to go to CCD like my big brothers!! I was able to start CCD a year early since Nana helps with the Pre-K class, but I am going to learn a lot so that I will be a big helper in my Pre-K CCD class next year!

Ryan arrived to his first night of Wednesday CCD with a smile. He was anxious to find out who was in his class, and was very happy to see Cooper and Evan when he walked through the door!

With all four of us enrolled in CCD at St. Charles, we have the most family members enrolled in CCD this year! Quite a blessing, I think!!

Football Friday, Soccer Saturday, and Sunday at the Ballpark!

On Tuesday, Ryan went back to school dressed like a soccer CHAMPION!

I went to school dressed like my buddy Jake Havard!!

We had a great week of school and sports... we all had a little homework, I had soccer practice, Dylan had baseball practice, and Ryan had soccer and baseball!!  A fun week for the Bell Boys that ended in a wonderful way... Bulldog football!

I was so excited to see my Little Wooden Shoes buddy, Ayden Sunday at Bulldog Stadium!  He is in Kindergarten at Highland Park and I sure miss seeing him at school every day!!

Here is my new school buddy that I get to see everyday, Hunter Adams!  I told Mommy that we all three need to get together to play soon... I really think that we would have fun!!

Being silly with BB before the game!!

I climbed up to sit with Aunt Allie, Uncle Jerry, Granna, and Nana, while Jake joined Dylan and Peyton to watch the game!

We left the game at halftime since my first soccer game of the season is at 8:30 in the morning.  On our way out, we ran into Ryan's friends Matthew Mendoza, Cooper Slott, Jonah Culver, and Paxton Packman!

Bright and early on Saturday morning, team Kryptonite was ready for some soccer!!

For the first quarter of the game, I was the fearless goalkeeper!  I didn't allow any goals!!  I came out of goal to play defense and in the last quarter of the game, I played forward.

My team won the game!!

I had so much fun... I really like soccer!

Sunday was Ryan and Dylan's day to play!  The boys are playing Fall Baseball at Ford Park. Dylan is playing on the Coach Pitch Rockies and Ryan plays with the Minor Division Angels.  The fall ball teams play double headers on Sunday for five weeks and the season will end with a tournament.  Both boys played well, their teams both won their first game and lost the second... we enjoyed spending our Sunday at the ballpark!

Labor Day Cup Champions!

Ryan traveled with the Gusher United 03 boys to compete in the 2012 Houston Labor Day Cup Tournament.  The team played two games on Saturday and they celebrated two shutouts, 3-0 and 5-0!  Ryan played goalkeeper and didn't see a whole lot of action in goal because the Gusher defenders were solid, but he kept the ball out of the goal when it came his way!!

After a day of soccer, the boys enjoyed a muy delicioso mexican food dinner at Lupe Tortilla!

[fine photography by Peyton]

I was ready for day two of the tournament!  Here I am heading to the field with Daddy!!

Saturday brought two more games, the first a 9-0 shutout and the second a 1-1 "nailbiter". Ryan made two fantastic, amazing saves in the second game!  He experienced his two most exciting goalkeeping moments thus far within minutes of each other!!  We were so proud that the tie game sent the Gusher boys to the championship game because they had scored more points in the tournament than their opponent who had also not lost a game prior to the match.

The team enjoyed tasty bar-b-q lunch and then headed back to the hotel to feed the fish in the lobby, swim, and kick the soccer ball around!

The Omni was a very cool hotel!!

I sure was exhausted after a long day of play!

Monday was a new day... a great day for a championship!! We started the day with a breakfast of champions at Cracker Barrel!

After that, we took it easy around the hotel and fed the catfish in the outdoor pond.

Before the championship game, the team's coach told the boys to rub SuperRyan's head for good luck.  What a great way to pump Ryan up before the big game!!  Every goalkeeper needs to enter the game with confidence... and after a team huddle, he did just that.  The boys played hard, but the opponent pushed the defense close to the goal and Ryan allowed those close battles to score.  At halftime the team was down 2-0, but every player on the team returned to the field with a confidence and determination to WIN!!  After twenty minutes of intense play, these talented boys were all smiles for their 4-3 Championship victory!

Celebrating the WIN as they are called onto the stage!

When the boys were asked who the the team's captain was, the boys chose their goalkeeper Ryan Bell!  What an honor for our big brother!!  Ryan is a very quiet and calm leader and we are so proud of him... for his hard work, effort, and constant support of his teammates!  He was very grateful to be a part of such a great group!!

Ryan receiving his Championship CUP from Houston Dynamo player Brian Ching!

Proud of those Nederland boys!!
Corbin Chandler, Cooper Slott, Evan Whitehead, Ryan, and Payne Barrow

Ryan is thankful to Coach Paul for his coaching and guidance through his soccer years!  He has provided such support and encouagement to Ryan in goal and on the field!

Nana, Aunt Allie, and Granna were so happy to be there for the big game!

Aunt Allie and Uncle Jerry were happy for the WIN!

Dad and Mom were beyond excited for Ryan and a great weekend of soccer!

Wilson was proud of Ryan and the Gusher United 03 boys, but he was THRILLED that Brian Ching autographed his soccer shirt!!

I loved the autograph on my new goalie gloves!!

We were all happy to be heading home with our CHAMPION!!
