Rain, Rain Go Away... It's Langham FUN DAY!!

Even rain couldn't ruin our Fun Day!  The day started with a drizzle, but Wilson and his Kindergarten friends headed outside for fun, fun, fun!  Wilson started his day with a snow cone and a smile!!

Wilson with classmates Hunter Adams, Jackson Smith, and Waylon Bennett

Wilson was ready to get wet and wild on the super big slip-n-slide! WAHOO!!

Another stop for a yummy snack... this time Wilson devoured cotton candy and a coke!!

Wilson's last stop was the giant slide!!  WEHEE!!

After the Kindergarteners went in, the first graders were ready to come out!  There was no rain to prevent them from completing the obstacle course and other field events, so Ryan and the other fourth grade helpers got the course prepared for the first relay competition of the day!!
Dylan and the yellow team are READY - SET - to GO!

With Ryan cheering for him every step of the way, Dylan sprinted, jumped over the hurdles, and then sped under...
...smiling every step of the way!
Dylan cut a quick somersault and then dashed to the finish!

Dylan's team was short one runner, so Dylan headed back to the start line to give it another go... and it was another great run!!

Ryan and Wade congratulated Dylan on a job well done and then took a trip to the shade for a drink and a rest until they were needed to assist with the next obstacle relay!

The next event was the oh-so-intense water relay!

Brady, Dylan, and Kooper had a minute for a quick smile on the way to the final competition... the tug-of-war!!
The yellow team tugged and tugged with all their might, but did not win the battle.

A tug-of-war defeat did not keep Dylan from enjoying every minute of his play day!!

Dylan with his first grade friends Daelyn Kimball, Jeffery Nguyen, Jackson Yoder, Brady Corcoran, and Kooper Grant

Dylan took a play break for a few tasty treats... handfuls of popcorn and then cotton candy!

He put that energy to good use on the super wet, super slide!

Dylan gave Mommy a little hug before heading in!  I thought a hug would be a good idea too since Mommy was kind enough to let crazy, little me stay to enjoy all of the Fun Day festivities!!

Mommy and I snuck in to say hi to Wilson between the events and as always, Wilson was ready with a super sweet hug!

There was a little "down time" between classes, so I made very good use of that time getting WET-N-WILD!!

I had to clear the slip-n-slide so that the fourth graders could make a splash... and Ryan did just that!!

Ryan let me in on a picture with his fourth grade friends.  In the back are Beau Seymour, ?, and Wade Butler; and in front are Jonah Culver, Greg Savant, and Joey Hebert.  I think I have the biggest smile of them all... there was a lot for me to smile about on FUN DAY!

I snuck in a few rides down the slide while no one was looking!!

Let the fourth grade relay begin!!

After the obstacle course relay, we headed over to the water relay!!
Ryan's team didn't finish first, but he sure "had his game face on!"

Wade, Ryan, and Joey on their way to the final event of their final Fun Day at Langham!

Ryan and the blue team dominated the tug-of-war!!

From beginning to end, this was a wonderful day!!
