Fall Fun!!

Fall wouldn't be complete without the Little Wooden Shoes Pumpkin Patch!

Peyton is so proud of his pumpkin!!  I just LOVE his silly little grin!!

Peyton and his friends had fun seeing all of the precious pumpkins in the patch!!

We also show love to show our drug free spirit in October!  We kicked off Red Ribbon Week with "Put a Cap on Drugs Day" at Langham!!

On Tuesday, we "stomped out drugs" in our boots!!

 

Tuesday was also the city-wide Red Ribbon Parade!!  We showed our drug free spirit by wearing RED and cheering as the parade of Teriffic Nederland Teens, Bulldog football players, cheerleaders, Westernaires, the band, BIG NED, and other community supporters passed in front of Langham!!  Me and my fourth grade friends are proud to be drug free!!

The parade made it to all of the elementary schools in Nederland and passed Little Wooden Shoes along the way!!  Peyton and his preschool pals waved happily as the parade passed!

 

Wilson's class was covered in red......and they wore their stomping shoes too!!

Mommy and Aunt Allie ran into these red cuties on the playground on Tuesday afternoon!

Wednesday was Shade Out Drugs Day!

Thursday was Don't Let Drugs Drive You Crazy Day where we wore our craziest hair-do!!

The first graders were sporting some very crazy hair styles!

Wilson and Mrs. Gregory had some pretty crazy hair too!

Thursday was much more than crazy hair day... it was Wilson's Kindergarten Performance AND Langham's Fall Carnival! We washed out our hairspray, hair gel, and hair color to get ready for the night's events! Our first stop was Nederland High School for the Rotary Club Spaghetti Dinner featuring Nederland Kindergarteners!! Wilson and his Langham friends were the first group to sing and they did such a great job!

Wilson smiled from ear to ear during the entire performance... we were so proud of him!!

Right after Wilson's wonderful performance, we headed straight to Langham for some Fall Carnival Fun!! Here we are with our award-winning carnival posters!! Our posters were hung around town and throughout the school to advertise the fun event!!

 

We all had a blast at the event!

Wilson and Hunter had fun playing the games, but they were MOST excited about seeing their favorite Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Gregory, in the dunking booth!!

Big Peyton hit the bulls-eye on his first throw!!

Wilson was all smiles after he sent Mrs. Gregory swimming...she is such a fun teacher!!

Dylan had baseball practice on Thursday night, but made it to the carnival in time to enjoy some of the festivities!  He and I both managed to escape Mom's photos, but it sure was fun!!

 

Finally, our very favorite spirit day... Bulldogs Keep Their Paws Off of Drugs!!
