First, a stop a Market Basket for our favortie cookies for the event! Peyton is not staying with us, but Mom let him get cookies to share with his friends at Little Wooden Shoes!
Wilson was happy to see his Little Wooden Shoes Pre-K friends Ayden Sunday, Owen Melancon, and Gabby Broussard!
Dylan saw his Kindergarten classmate, Tanner Tillie!
I was glad that my friends Corbin, Cooper, Evan, and Jonah were there to enjoy the week with me!
The week brought one rainy day after another, so on Wednesday Mom took us to Mazzio's Pizza for lunch and then to the movie theater to see The Amazing Spiderman! It was an exciting, awesome, action-packed movie... Corbin, Evan, Cooper, Dylan and I loved it!!
On Thursday, Mom let the younger boys bring a friend to McDonald's for lunch!
After lunch, we went to the movies to see Madagascar 3 in 3D! It was a silly, fun movie with good music... we danced, we laughed, and we had fun!

We woke up on Friday the 13th feeling super blessed that we were going to be celebrating the end of VBS with our family and friends! The theme of our week at church was SKY... Everything is possible with God (Mark 10:27)!
We each walked into the program with our class... here I am with my 4th grade friends!
Dylan parading in with his 1st grade friends!
Wilson walking in proudly with his kindergarten friends!
The week was a blast! We started each day with "Jesercise," enjoyed science experiments led by "Alberta Einstein," played fun games like "Ships and Sailors," and learned that we can always trust God!! We all gave our best performance and were happy to sing and dance for the Lord!! In this picture, you can see all three of us if you look closely... Dylan and Wilson are standing next to each other on the front row (left), and I am peeking up in the very back (near the middle)!!
Wilson with his pal Ayden Sunday
Wilson said his favorite part of Bible School was dancing, and he also liked snack time!! He liked the day that they learned 'No matter what people do... trust God!' The verse for the day was Isiah 40:31, "But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles."
Me with my buds Corbin Chandler and Evan Whitehead
My favorite part of VBS was getting to spend time with my friends, but my favorite part of the day was our daily science experiment. My favorite verse of the week was a verse that I helped act out "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)
Dylan and his friend Campbell Spell
Dylan liked music time best and that really showed in his performance. We loved hearing his voice singing proudly on the stage!! His favorite day was 'No matter what happens... trust God!' The verse for the day was "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love." (Roman 8:38)
Campbell's older sister, Sullivan and me
Mom took this picture after the program, but she took it to remind us that Wilson was quite a little performer when he took the stage! He walked up the stairs with a big smile on his face and stopped near the middle of the stage! He quickly noticed that a microphone was within his reach, so without a second thought he reached out an touched it... THREE times!! The smile on his face grew bigger with each thump that echoed from his tap, but thankfully the music came on quickly and his hands became busy dancing as he sang!! He sure is cute... just look at that smile on his face... I think that Kindergarten will be very good for our free-spirited, fun-loving Wilson... I am just hoping that Kindergarten is ready!!
A hot air balloon ride high in the SKY!!!
Mom was so proud!!
After our program, we all headed to Chick-fil-a for lunch. We had no idea that Friday was "Cow Appreciation Day"!! There were people dressed like cows and cow headbands for those who did not come dressed like a cow!
There were cow games to play where the prize was a cow toy! Some of us enjoyed cow cupcakes while others ate a piece of the giant cow cake...
...and of course, the Chick-fil-a Cow Couple was there to celebrate the event!!
All of this excitement was followed by a very normal night at the Bell house! Isn't this how you dress on a normal night?!
How about this... isn't this what you do on a normal night around the house?!! Hahahahaha! I am just kidding! I am not sure that we ever have a truly "normal" night around here, but any of these silly things can happen on a normal night at our house... never a dull moment, and that is just how I like it!!
