Mommy's Birthday Weekend

We were super sweet to Mommy on her birthday and she said that was the best gift EVER!!

Daddy took us to the store to pick out this beautiful rose boquet and the most chocolatey dessert that we could find!!  Mommy LOVED them both... but not as much as she loved all of the hugs that she got from us!!

We thought that 35 candles would be too many, so we decided to put 3 and 5 to represent Mom's 35 years!!  I helped her make a wish and blow out the sparkling candles... we blew them out a couple of times since they kept flickering!!  I bet she wished for many more happy days like today :)

After we blew out Mommy's candles, we gave her the cards that we had made for her.  She said that our creations were fabulous and they made her feel so special!

There was another celebration in the neighborhood... Logan Louvier's 11th birthday.  We made our way down the street to party and swim! Here we are with our good buddy and neighbor Jake Havard!

Here is the whole happy bunch!

After the party, Peyton was ready to play catch while wearing his new "catcher's knees"!  No matter what day, what time, or where we may be, Peyton LOVES to play baseball!!

Dylan's choice of after party fun was riding bikes with Kooper Grant!

It wasn't long before we all headed to our backyard for a fun waterslide adventure!!  Dylan decided it would be fun to pull the water hose to the top of the fort in order to make our very own slippery, twisty waterslide!  We had a BLAST!!

Peyton was a big muddy mess after the slipping and sliding extravaganza!

At the end of the day, I think Mommy had a SUPER Happy 35th Birthday!!

On Sunday, we took it easy... spending the morning at church and then playing around the house!  The afternoon sun was super hot, so Mom and Dad let us invite a couple of friends over to swim!  Here I am "synchronized jumping" with my buddy Cole Broussard!!

We were ready for a big jump into our tubes!! This makes Mommy REALLY nervous.  She insists ONE jumper at a time, and that we jump OUT far... she must not realize that we are super-safe stunt jumpers!!  She was pretty impressed with our jumping skills!

We got out of the pool for a bit to jump on the trampoline, and then went on a bug hunt around the yard.  After an unsuccessful hunting venture, we decided to head back to the pool... the skimmer is the perfect place to find a bug or two!!
