A FANTASTIC Fourth Grade Track Meet!!

There were a lot of races to be run and a lot of fun to be had at the Fourth Grade Track Meet at Nederland Bulldog Stadium!  These boys were stretched and ready to represent Langham Elementary!
Jonah Culver, Ryan, Joey Hebert, Wade Butler, and Zach Macon

These Langham little brothers were excited and ready to support!
Slate Yoder, me, Jackson Yoder, and Wilson

Wilson ran into a few of his favorite girls at the event!  Madyn Bennett was supporting her big sister Reis and the Hillcrest team, and Camryn Slott was there to cheer on her big brother Cooper and the Helena Park bunch!!

Wilson was happy to see Aunt Allie too!!  Hugs for her and Sawyer xoxoxo!!

Ryan's first event was the softball throw.  He threw his personal best of 135 feet, and that was good for a second place finish!!  It isn't so bad to finish second when your good buddy finishes first!  By the looks on their faces,  Ryan and Brody enjoyed the competition!!

Ryan's next event was the 4 x 100 relay.  Ryan ran the race with three of his classmates, often referred to as the four musketeers of fourth grade! Joey Hebert ran the first leg of the race, followed by Jonah Culver, who passed the baton to Ryan!

Ryan lengthened out his stride and ran faster than we had EVER seen him run before!!

After his sprint, Ryan passed the baton to Wade Butler...

...and he cheered his teammate on until he crossed the finish line ahead of the competition!

These Langham Bulldogs were thrilled about their first place finish!!

Peyton ran into his Helena Park buddy, Evan Whitehead, between Ryan's races!

Ryan's final event of the afternoon was the 200 yard dash!

Ryan raced from start to finish...

...and ended the race in second place!  We were proud!!

Ryan congratulated Paxton Packman after his events...

...and couldn't leave without saying "job well done" to his good buddies, Corbin, Cooper, and Evan!!

Coach Wood and Coach Dial made this track meet a wonderful experience for the fourth graders, and every day they make PE at Langham Elementary the BEST in Nederland!!

Wilson, Peyton, and I are all looking forward to the day that we can enjoy our Fourth Grade Track Meet!  It will be so much fun, but more importantly we will strive to have a good attitude and display outstanding leadership and sportsmanship like our big brother Ryan did!  He worked hard, did his very best, and made us so proud to be called "Ryan Bell's little brothers"!

Bell Boys 1-2-3 and 4!  Blessed beyond measure!!
