The Easter Egg Hunt was on Thursday!
Wilson had his game face on!!
Hunting eggs was lots of fun, but by the smile on Wilson's face, I think that the Pre-K Confetti Eggs were a little more fun!!
We woke up on Good Friday and decided to take a road trip!! We jumped in the car and headed to Kemah to enjoy the sights and eat lunch at The Aquarium. The food was yummy and the enormous fish tanks were awesome!!
We couldn't leave the boardwalk without playing a few carnival games!

Our next stop was the USS Texas Battleship and San Jacinto Monument. We had a great time walking around the ship, from top to bottom! We loved sitting behind the cannons and pretending to battle the enemy ships!!
It was a fantastic day, and we took it all in as we started our trip home on the Lynchberg Ferry!
We were tuckered out after a day of travel and exploration, but we woke up ready for Easter fun on Saturday! We made our annual trip to visit the Easter Bunny, and for the first time in three years, there is not an adult in our picture! I guess we are growing up!!
After that, we went to The Slotts' Annual Crawfish Boil. We bounced in the bounce house, shot hoops, played a little wiffle ball, dyed Easter eggs, cracked confetti eggs, and had great fun!! Here we are... the Slotts, Chandlers, Whiteheads, and Bells (Wilson chose to hang out at home with Nana. We had a great day, but so did he)!
We finished off the day by dying Easter eggs together at home!
Our hands turned a good shade of "Hulk Green" from using our hands instead of a spoon to dip and remove the eggs from the dye!!
We woke up on Sunday morning ready to see what the Easter Bunny had left for us!
We were all so happy to see that the bunny left basketball shoes for Peyton!! He has been wearing Wilson's, and those are a touch too big for him! He was thrilled with his Air Jordan's!
Wilson loved his new swim trunks!
I was excited to get a Texas Aggie basketball jersey. Something that I have been looking for since basketball season began!
Dylan tried out the pogo stick! We are all going to have some practicing to do before we can consider ourselves good pogo jumpers!!
We enjoyed a Palmer's bunny [the world's greatest Easter chocolate according to our Paw Paw] for breakfast!!
In a flash, we were off to hunt candy-filled Easter eggs!! Most of us moving too fast to stop and smile...
We are so thankful for all that God has blessed us with!! Easter Blessings to ALL!
