Nine is Fine!

Our big brother celebrated his 9th birthday today! It is always fun to celebrate Ryan's birthday because he is such a great person... he always deserves a celebration!! Ryan is a super big brother who is kind, considerate, a hard worker, makes good choices, always has a smile on his face, and is a perfect leader for those of us who are following in his footsteps!!

The birthday celebrations began at school with Mrs. Smith and his third grade classmates! Complete with "Happy Birthday" sung in both English and Spanish!! Ryan's choice of a perfect birthday meal... BBQ Crabs!! He wanted a dinner at home, so we brought the crabs to him!

Ryan is NINE... NINE wonderful years of amazing memories!! It is hard to believe that this year will pass and his age will be in the double digits... that is very exciting, but we are not going to wish this year away; instead, we will cherish every fantastic moment!

When I was gathering pictures for Ryan's birthday, I found a fun photo from Nana's 59th birthday celebration on February 3. Daddy grilled yummy steak for dinner and we enjoyed Nana's famous chocolate and peanut butter ice cream pie! Aunt Jennifer and Campbell made a trip to celebrate with us!! We hope you had a very happy birthday, Nana!!
