A New Sport!

This afternoon we witnessed a first... one of our Bell boys playing a basketball game! Ryan decided that he wanted to play Nederland Little Dribblers Basketball this season.
Here is a head-to-toe view. Can you believe that Mommy let Peyton go to a basketball game in his Lamar football jersey, baseball pants, and Mickey Mouse Crocs?!! I don't think she would have let any of us wear that in public, but he has such a strong opinion about his attire that we all decided it would be better not to fight it! We think he is cute despite his crazy outfit!

Ryan took 3 shots and each shot added 2 points to the board... and one of the shots was off of a rebound!! We are not basketball experts, but we were impressed with his skills!!

We were very proud of Ryan and his team! The game ended in a 38-34 victory!! They did a great job and it looks like this will be a fun season!!
