We had a super fun Memorial Day weekend and hope that you did too! On Saturday morning we woke up and went to Crystal Beach to help Grandpa work at his lot (Grandpa and Daddy worked... we splashed and played)! It was lots of fun to spend time at the beach again - we have not visited since Hurricane Ike destroyed most of the peninsula. Things have changed a lot, but there are signs of growth everywhere! The above picture shows us on Grandpa's beach front lot that has been all cleaned up... one remaining pillar was "planted" on the empty lot to remind us of the cabin that once was there!
While we were having fun at the beach, water was filling up our new swimming pool! We got home and splashed in the pool as it filled up and we enjoyed playing in the "full pool" on Sunday and Monday. It was a great family weekend!!
oh my goodness. I love the last picture!! SOOO cute. Hope you are all doing well. We NEED to get everyone together this summer. Jenn and her crew are here in Houston now...for the summer.
