Soccer TwentyTEN Has Come to an End!

Another fun soccer season has come to an end! Ryan's team finished the season undefeated and Dylan's little team finished the season always defeated, but both boys had the best coaches in their division!!

Ryan's team was a lot of fun to watch! Ryan scored at least one goal in most games, but his primary position was to play back. There is not yet a goalie in his age group, but he plays back most times. The boys did a great job working together, staying in positions, passing the ball around the field, and scoring as a TEAM. It was quite amazing to watch these 7 year olds grow as soccer players and as team players!!

Dylan's team always had fun on the field, but was not always a ton fun to watch! These little guys have learned so much about the game, but are still working to get their bodies to do what their minds know that they should!! Dylan scored a few goals this season - a few seemed accidental (ie. one of his goal kicks rolled all the way across the field to score), but he did score a real deal goal in his last game (he dribbled and controlled the ball toward the goal and made the shot)!!
Some of the best times for the team were the after-game huddles and celebratory run-through! The intensity and excitement was REAL! Love those Blasters!!

We were very proud of our big brothers this soccer season! I am excited that I will be joining them next season when I join the 5U soccer division :) Peyton will have to wait a couple of years to join us, but he is right with us as we kick it around the backyard!!
